1. About these terms
These terms apply when you create a Lease Yoga account, use this website, or purchase access to a class. By doing so, you agree to these terms.
Lease Yoga is operated from New Zealand and welcomes customers worldwide. Classes may be filmed in New Zealand or in other countries, but the online service is provided by Lease Yoga from New Zealand. These terms are governed by New Zealand law. If you live elsewhere, you also keep any mandatory consumer rights that the law in your country gives you and that cannot legally be excluded.
2. Accounts and class access
You must provide accurate information and keep your login details private. You are responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 18 years old, or have permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian.
Creating an account is free. Each class costs NZ$5 and includes seven days of unlimited viewing from your first play. Access is personal to you and may not be shared, transferred, recorded, copied, downloaded, or resold.
3. Your health and safety
Yoga, barre, Pilates, and other movement classes involve physical activity and carry a risk of strain, falls, injury, or aggravating an existing condition.
- Choose a class and movement options suitable for your own health, experience, and surroundings.
- Make sure you have a safe space and suitable equipment.
- Move within your own limits and stop immediately if you feel pain, faintness, dizziness, shortness of breath, or become unwell.
- Seek advice from a qualified health professional before participating if you are pregnant, injured, recovering from surgery, have a medical condition, or are unsure whether a class is suitable.
Online classes are prerecorded and Lease cannot see you, assess your condition, or correct your movement in real time. You take part voluntarily and accept the ordinary risks of physical exercise. You are responsible for injuries or loss caused by ignoring these precautions, using unsafe equipment or surroundings, or exercising beyond your abilities.
4. Our responsibility
Lease Yoga takes reasonable care in preparing and providing its classes. However, no class is medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, physiotherapy, or a promise of a particular result.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lease Yoga is not responsible for indirect loss or for injury, damage, or loss caused by your failure to follow the safety guidance above. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under New Zealand’s Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and Fair Trading Act 1986 or mandatory laws that apply where you live.
5. Payments, cancellations, and refunds
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Prices are shown in New Zealand dollars. There is no subscription and no recurring charge.
You do not need to cancel class access; it expires automatically. We do not usually refund a change of mind after digital access has been supplied. If a technical fault prevents you from using a purchased class, contact us so we can investigate and provide an appropriate remedy. Your rights under New Zealand consumer law always apply.
6. Intellectual property and fair use
All videos, teaching, text, photographs, branding, and other website content belong to Lease Yoga or are used with permission. Your purchase gives you a limited right to stream the class for personal, non-commercial use during your access period. You may not share access, copy or record a class, make it available to anyone else, or use it to teach or create competing content.
7. Website availability
We aim to keep Lease Yoga available and secure, but maintenance, internet issues, or services outside our control may occasionally interrupt access. We may update or withdraw content where reasonably necessary. If an issue materially affects paid access, contact us and we will work toward a fair solution.
8. Suspending access
We may suspend or close an account if it is used unlawfully, fraudulently, to share paid content, to threaten others, or in a way that could harm Lease Yoga or its customers. We will act reasonably and respect any rights you have under New Zealand law.
9. Governing law, changes, and contact
These terms are governed by New Zealand law and disputes may be dealt with by New Zealand courts or tribunals. This does not prevent an international customer from relying on any mandatory rights or dispute process available under the law where they live.
We may update these terms as the service changes. The current version and update date will always appear on this page. Changes will not remove rights you already have for an existing purchase.
